I don't think I did a formal introduction of my car. Here she is.

Just got the X Turbo swap done at RRE. I had him do a tune for power and a tune for fuel economy. Here are the graphs. THANKS MIKE!! (EDIT: In case the graphs are too small to see, it is making 297HP and 286TQ at 24PSI)

Plan on getting oil coolers anytime soon? Engine? Tranny? or both?

Is this your daily driver?

Nice, the wheels look good.

About the tune, how do you go about switching between the economy tune and the power tune? Its one thing that I have been interested in but I'm not really sure how it works.

Tephra hasn't come out with the mod for the 09 Ralliart yet so I will just be changing it through ECUFlash on my carPC. Hopefully Tephra releases their mod for the 09 soon so I can switch on the fly.

Yes yes yes yes and yes.

So are you saying 'yes'? lol

How many miles you putting on this beast?

Notice big difference with SS lines? upgraded pads? if so, which ones?

Thx

Got 21000 miles on her now.

SS lines make the pedal firmer. Haven't upgraded the pads. I had planned to have Mike@RRE make brackets for Evo9 Brembos but my wheels didn't fit so that is going to he on hold for a few months.

Enkei wheels will clear right?. I cant wait to see your RA to where I what my RA to be. Congrats Wutangmo15!

Yeah. Enkei GSRs should clear. It is just the way my rim is shaped. The spokes are too straight. If they were curved outward like the GSRs then it might have worked.

I met up with wutangmo15 to check out his RA with Evo X turbo.
I test drove his RA as well as wutangmo15 test drove my RA.

As far as the power gain/difference goes...My RA is slow/sedated compared to Wutangmo15's Lacy... Sounds a bit different. I feel/think Evo X turbo with RA can go high 11s or low 12s 1/4 miles. & this test drive was done with TC-SST in Normal Mode. Cant wait to see it in action on the track. :)

Wutangmo15 brakes clamps on sooner due to the ss brake lines, ebrake is stiffer & engages sooner.

Lowering springs is a bit stiffer than stock which can beat you up on hard bumps. But it wasnt that bad & handle very nice..
I was kinda afraid to scrape so I was very gentle/slow.

All in all Lacy the Lancer is one beautiful car & will be well balanced after Brake upgrade. Brembo brakes front & rear. Oh YEAH!

I reget selling my Evo X turbo...

Good stuff!

Is that the NFSLancerRA kit, or did you fix up something yourself for the brake kit?

NFS kit. I love it. Fills out the wheel nicely.

I don't think he is completely done with the project. He was going to put a new prototype on my car since I live somewhat nearby. It never happened but that's not to say that it won't in the future.

Car is holding up great. I'm around 40000 miles. Did the SST fluid swap around 33k miles and installed a SST cooler at that time. I did a track day at Buttonwillow a few months ago and everything ran smoothly. I still want an engine oil cooler for hotter track days though just in case.
