Hi guys anybody experienced a clunk sound while turning the wheel to the right backing up or going up the ramp slowly? My car is doing that since when I bought it but the dealer said they can't duplicate the clunk sound, then I asked one mechanic to drive with me he heard it but still did not fix the prob and he already changed the cv oil something and it's still leaking, please reply if anybody here is experiencing it thanks

Since you can regularly make it do it, you should drive it so they can hear it. Take another RalliArt for a comparison drive. Their common way to blow you off is to say they couldnt reproduce it. Start talking abou the lemmon law. If they try three times to fix it and they cant, they have to buy the car back. Demand better service, work your way up the food chain there at the dealer. Call MMSA headquarters and tell them about your experience with this dealer. If you can get the car to RRE I will give you an opinion. We are here till at least 9pm M-F.

If I was there:

Service Writer: It leaks like that because you stay in 1st gear too much.

Me: OK, thanks. Where in the manual does it say how much is the correct time to stay in 1st gear?

Service Writer: Well it doesnt really say that.

ME: Well how do you know that is the problem? Do you have a service bulliten from MMSA describing this problem?

Service Writer: Not really. I am just pulling this out of my butt hoping you will forget and we can go work on something that actually pays some real money instead.

Me: I saw on the internets there are these cool lemon law attorneys. Something about you all have 3 chances to fix a recurring problem or Mitsubishi has to buy the car back. Should I go get more details on this?

Service Writer: Lets have one more look.

Dont let people push you around.
Look up some lawyers in your area that can give you free consulting.
Always good to have reinforcement & lawyer as a back up is great idea.

You can also try taking it to another dealer. Some places are shady like that.
