the trim ring is staying black in some form or other.

i took the black vinyl off the lip.

should i re-do the black lip ?

keep in mind ,if i re-do it will be FLAT BLACK not gloss.

I think I like the lip and yes, flat black would work better. Nice to have the pictures to choose from. I hope you don't mind, I added a poll for the choices you offered.

I like the black lip on your color. I'm not sure how well it would look on other colors though. Well, I don't think it would work on my color anyway (rotor glow). I like the black trim for sure.

I couldn't vote on this because I actually liked both ways. But what I would do is, leave it as is without the black lip part and just add a nice C/F lip spoiler underneath it. But to each of their own opinions. BTW, I love how you do that "ring" on the nose.

I vote for no. Black lip is already on the Evo X's, and so many Lancers are doing it as well.
