Hi All,

My name is Paul and I have just purchased a 2009 Ralliart with 31,000kms.

I'm interested in tracking this car in the spring. While I have tracked my other car (928) for 10 years, I'll need to come up to speed on Ralliart-specific setup.

So far I've read on other boards about SST tranny overheating issues, so one of my first mods may be a fog light delete for extra cooling.

Here are some pics of my ride.

Hi All,

I'm just east of the downtown core.

I picked up the car from the dealer yesterday. It came with the wing. The dealer said it was a factory option.

Happy New Year!

Yup, that's what one of the sales people told me.

I had my doubts though, as there is a subtle carbon fiber finish to the sides of it. Also, I had never seen an '09 Ralliart with a wing like that.

Looks good though and any reduced lift will come in handy for track days :)

I have had my car on the track a few times now and the 2 main things I hate are the skinny tires have you sliding into the corners and clawing your way out and the brakes are scary as to how bad they can be after only 20 minutes of hard driving. I would not be too concerned in regards to the transmission as it is tougher than you think. If you are gonna pound on it launching it from a dead stop as in 1/4 mile racing then maybe but not if your actually tracking the car around a road or rally cross track.

So bottom line if your car is going to be tracked, started budgeting for new rims, tires and brakes.
