Heys guys, as you know, I own a TB ralliart, and right now im thinking about getting a vinyl wrap done to my car. Im looking to do the roof, and top of the trunk in matte black, and then the hood design on the pic of the evo i posted, also in matte black.

what do you guys think?

So your going to cover black with flat black? seems like a bit of a waste to me... the hood idea isn't bad tho.

the flat black on black is ideal to me because it is very subtle. it'll be like a ghosting effect. any other color would look dumb i think

Well I was thinking it would be better to just leave it as-is unless you wanted to protect the paint on your roof and trunk for some reason.

How about 3M DI-NOC CF Vinyl? Will also look subtle, but I think it will look a lot better then just a matte black overlay.

i dont know, ive never really been a fan of the cf look.

i like matte black on black, i think it looks cool. It would be something on the same sorta lines as this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mzsnjlBIDhk

I guess the contrast between the gloss and matte will look alright. Just not a fan of having the contrast made with the same color. Imagine white matte on my gloss white RA?! In the end it's your car and as long as you like it that's all that matters.

i agree with others. matte black on TB black won't have much of an effect. either go full matte black or nay. ps.. i'm getting my GG roof vinyled black as we speak:D

I think the Matte Black on Gloss would look great if done in the right areas... not a split down the middle like the vette. Cool idea!


Wish my RA was black... lol might just matte black the whole thing with red accents

yeah me too, ive always liked matte black on gloss black, gives the black a depth to it. And yeah that would be cool! i see alot of matte black evo's, never have i seen a ralliart. Be the first!
