Hey, Im a noob here so im sorry if i do or say anything that might tick you off ha. But here's abit about my car and i and the journey were taking.
First off i got my Apex Silver 2009 Ralliart on December 20, 2009. So I've had it for awhile and so i already put a bit into it. I live in Carol Stream IL so if you have seen me around or ever do dont be afriad to say "hi" or "honk" ha.
I apologize for not having pictures of it while i was installing it or for you to compare the difference.my built thread will have a basic layout:
1)PICTURE
2)DESCRIPTION OF PIC
3)PARTS ON MY CAR(during the time)
Lastly feel free to comment on what i should get next or what i should take off etc.

The GG EVO GSR is my cousins and this was just some quick pics the first week i got "her"
The day i got the car the HKS Special edition BOV was being shipped over.

I decided i wanted a meaner look so i painted the chrome and lower bumper.... yes with plasti-dip:D. This pic was taken with my iphone my fault for the bad quality.
I also slapped on Tein Lowering Springs because the wheel to fender gap so to much ha.

This was towards winter but i gave up my ralliart taillight and got tinted tailights(bad idea) and i also put the CP-E dual catback exhaust
(If anyone is planning to tint thier taillight and will be willing to trade ill give you a fair amount just PM thanks)

since ur going for the black theme try blacking out the inside of ur headlights

the way the CP-E dual exit splits looks soooooooooooo sick. Makes me want to buy it purely based off looks, but the sound clips make it seem sooo loud :(

Im really happy on how it looked and sounded especially with the testpipe it sounds like a monster! what exhaust did you go with? and yea i no some are really loud but im happy with it and the cop cross the street doesn't mind so its not that bad

most reviews admit that it does drone, and even vibrate for them, which really scares me off :(
but CBE will probably be my LAST mod, so not really that bothered about my split decision at the moment

I got rid of the tinted taillights sorta looks like a stock 08 EVO X. in need of a rear diffuser ha.

tell me what you think but in the end im happy with my purchase and i plan to be faster than the EVO X not copy it.

Is that an aftermarket rear bumper? Does indeed look very Evo-ish.

Aftermarket rear bumper and rear door side extensions seem a little out of place with the oem front bumper, but look good nonetheless. Any plans to swap the front bumper out as well?!

Can you take & post some pics of the rear wheel well??
To be completely honest, the body shop you took it to should've done better job with paint match on the kit.
Rear bumper paint matches better than the wide body.
Maybe because of the lighting or maybe its the camera.
Looking good.

you should also see if they can patch and mould the fender flares and door add-ons so they down show the seem.
probably costs an arm and a leg but it makes for a waaay cleaner look.
It is more like an arm, a leg, & your first born.
If you can do your own molding you cut the cost of your first born to just your arm & leg. :rolleyes:
It would look much better but I strongly advise him not to take it to the same shop. :D
Another thing is I dont think this wide body is going to give you anymore clearance for wider wheels.

Sorry guys I haven't been able to update in awhile my pc broke down on me so I have to wait til its fixed. I'll try getting before or shortly after the holiday.
