Instead of going with an Evo X turbo set up does anyone know of a turbo replacement for the stock turbo.... I thought I heard something on evom.net but I dont recal where I saw it at. I plan to go e85 and might as well go with a bigger turbo. Any thoughts?

BBX Lite isn't a stock replacement for the RA turbo.

The new CBRD RAD turbo, however, is.

Is it a direct replacement with the stock manifold, etc? I'm sure a tune would be needed as well.

Yes it is a direct replacement. That is the point :-)

Yes you would need a tune or re-tune.

Okay I have been emailing back and forth with Chad at CBRD and he informed me that you can send in your turn to have it done for $895 or you can do the core charge option which is still $895, but you have to pay the core fee of $795 and they will ship you the new turbo and you ship your stock turbo back and they will refund you the $795. He also said they will include a basemap, but a protune is still recomended. Also the arrival time is quick too ... about 7 days to texas!

I am very interested in this set up because it's cheaper and supposed to have better gains than doing a whole evo x turbo conversion and plus it looks stock when taking it into the dealer. :D

I just checked and they're in York, PA, which is only a couple of hours from me. I wonder if I were to get this done I could drive up there and have everything done at their facility. That would be awesome.

Ok I'm really liking THE CBRD turbo, but has anyone done a port and polish on the stock turbo or is it really worth it?
