I was wondering, do the people running a cobb accessport like it? I just ordered one and wanted to know how you guys liked it. Any input would be appreciated.

I have the AP.I'm currently running the stage1 91ACN tune.I like the AP but I don't like the lack of maps.its a nice tool but very limited in maps.I actually want to sell mine and just get a custom tune

I am just running the stage 1 map, currently but this is the second car 1 purchased an accessport for, my first being my old wrx. I really like the accessport, only thing is the limited number of maps for our cars right now. Always can get a custom tune and if there are no tuners in your area you can get an "e-tune" for your supporting mods.

i just went from stage 1 93 Octane to stage 2 91 Octane after installing UR Down Pipe and High Flow Cat. I already had Magnaflow Cat back on.
There is much more power, however, I do experiance engine knock. I called Cobb and they told me to swich gas station. I dont understand why I did not have engine knock with Stage 1 93, but I get it with Stage 2 91 Octane. Getting fuel from the same gas station. If I would do it again I woulnd't get AP.

Probably because you're running 91 octane instead of 93. Even though the ECU may be tuned for 91 octane with the Stage 2 upgrade, the engine itself probably doesn't like it. Dumb question, but are you still using 93 octane on a 91 tune, or did you completely switch to 91 octane?

From what I understand, these engines are VERY picky about what octane you use.

I am using 93 octane gas and stage 2 91 octane tune. I did that because few evo x owners told me that they experiannced knock with 93 program but never with 91 even though they used 93 octane gas. its always better to have more octanes than required.

Never even tried the stock maps at all I had my parts installed all at once so I couldn't do it but I have no knock and im on 91 because arizona doesn't have 93 which I hate!

No 93 octane? That's really odd.

Its really easy but one key thing to remember, you have to cycle your ignition after reprogram or else your car wont start. Learned the hard way lol thought I broke something.
