Ive been looking at the pioneer for this exact reason. How was the install.I thought it looked pretty easy. plug and play?did you have to pull a speed sensor wire for the navigation? Take some pics of the entire dash with the new navi.It looks really nioce in the one pic.nice job.have you used the navigation yet?

yep scosche kit.
nav works great. theres some great workarounds to the speed sensor wire, i have not done it yet. checkout avic411.com and its spelled out in black and white there.
i will post some SLR pictures in two weeks because i'm getting new wheels, so stay tuned for gigi:)

dude... that carbon dash trim... where did you get it and how much was it? I've been wanting to do that to replace the weird fake looking CF. Its like they didn't even try. My civic had better faux CF. lol

To me, it looks like he took a big sheet of carbon fiber and wrapped it himself. Notice the edges around the "hazard light" button, looks like it was done by hand.

That looks clean bro! I was thinking of doing a set up like that in my car just so the inside doesn't look so doel lol. If you don't mind me asking how much did that run you al together and was it hard to do it your self? I was planing on doing it some time this summer.

mine has bluetooth, i put the mic right behind the garage door opener on the roof. a steering wheel adaptor can help retain the bluetooth controls, but my f90bt doesn't support the steeringwheel bluetooth, just audio.

Ohh yea that's where the OEM mic is... since I don't have a garage door opener in my car I thought you were referring to a different location. The Bluetooth that's included with the head unit I want has a boom mic that I'm going to try and put there as well. How hard was it to run the wire up to that location from the dash?
