Hey guys my name is Eric and this is going to be my build thread for my 2010 Wicked White Ralliart Sportback. I bought the car brand new about a month ago (it was a left over) and current mods installed are just 2500k fogs. I do however have Tein S-techs, HKS DP, Evo X FMIC waiting to be installed and I just ordered a Cobb AP yesterday. Also within the next few weeks I'll be picking up a CP-E catback, UR UICP, and an AMS trans cooler from a buddy of mine. Future plans for perfromance are: front and rear sways, coilovers, brake upgrade (rotors, pads, and lines), injectors, AMS fuel rail, fuel pump, Evo X turbo, Full Race Exhaust manifold, test pipe, AMS FMIC, full Cobb ICP, Evo X BOV, AMS small battery kit, Drop in air filter, SSP trans pan, SSP trans fuild, and SSP clutch packs. Future Mods for looks are: Rally Armor Mud flaps, Black window trim and front ring, 35% tint all around, and leaning towards Matte Black Rota Grids. My end goal is to make the car around 400awhp and 350awtq that daily reliable. Here are some pictures of when I first got her and as she sits today, cheers!

Hahahaha thanks man. I've been following your build and wanted to know how your trans is holding out with the numbers your putting down, any updates?

Still going at 11,000 miles

I have a little bit of logged slip at peak torque but you would never know if you didn't log it.

Has that minor slip been there for a while with the power the car is putting out or has that just started recently on its own? Is that even being in Sport mode?

You have a lot of enthusiasm about your car.

Take this one piece of advice: Make a plan and stick with it. If you want that kind of power, start buying parts for it now. You are going to kill yourself with part overlap.

Yeah I know but the HKS DP, Teins, UR UICP, and Evo X FMIC I got for close to nothing. I'm big on "if you plan on replacing it don't buy it" I guess I kind of ate my own words on this one though lol.

Ok well I ordered my Cobb AP Monday so it should be in today or tomorrow. Now I read somewhere I need to update it but I can't find where those maps are. Can anyone steer me in the right direction? Thanks.

you can download them right from the cobb accessport ralliart page on their site, but you dont need to because it comes with updater software that does it for you automatically when you plug it into your computer ;)

My guess is since it's a left over they were from last fall and died over the winter. But let me tell you when I pulled the bumper off, looked up, and saw a wasp half way coming out I was like oh f*ck this is going to suck lol.

Damn I bet! I'm somewhat allergic to bee stings, so if I had seen that I probably would have take a 12-gauge shotgun with 00 buckshot to it! haha

I had a rodent nesting in my ac filter. I took it to the dealer for a service about 6 months after I bought the car. The mechanic came out of the shop holding a half eatin ac filter and several nuts that he had found in there as well.

Yeah man I put it off for awhile because I thought it would be alot worse then it was. I only used one can and I did 4 coats with 20min to dry in between each coat. Then I left it to dry for another 4 hours before I put I handled it. I have to say Plastidip is awesome if you follow directions and let it dry!!

How are you liking the Teins? I had them installed on my RA for a few months and the ride was super bouncy. For the record, DON'T TRIM THE BUMP-STOPS! I did and the struts blew.

UPDATE: CP-E cat-back and half of the UR UICP installed. As you can see from my Avatar I now shoot flames :D Waiting on FP 2.5" couplers then the rest of the UICP will go in and FINALLY my Evo X FMIC!! Also over the past month I've installed a SC test pipe and HKS drop-in air filter. Saving for a DP then stage 2 time on the AP  Will get pics up tomorrow, working nights is kicking my a$$ ATM lol

Well its been awhile, rest of the UICP installed along with Evo X Fmic. Also over this past weekend I sprayed my rims flat black and Plasti Dipped my window trim and rear emblem. Future plans for exterior are: yellow tint fogs, tint windows, painted headlights, and maybe window visors, blacked roof, and mudflaps.

Thanks man I just ordered Lamin-x yellow fog overlays and my girl is paying to get my headlights blacked out for my birthday which is a week from today :). Also next up I want to do upgrade brakes but I can't decide on what pads, rotors, and SS brake lines to go with, any suggestions? I was thinking RRM Pads and Rotors but I can't decided on which SS lines.

BravoZero
07-11-2011, 01:27 PM
If you do any of those first, I would say get the SS lines done. Get's the hardest part out of the way.

There's a thread regarding different pad and rotor setups, check it out for ideas.
