these are made by SSP they are still in original packaging. i could just return them to the company but there is a 20% restocking fee($400)!!!! so i would much rather just sell them to someone on here and give a discount on them that way you get a deal and i dont bite the bullet so hard lol. so i paid 1,950 for them will sell them to anyone for 1,750. for pictures just look on the website http://www.sspperformance.com/sub-category/-mitsubishi-evo-x/mr-sst-transmission----/ or pm me and ill get them to you. if these dont sell in a couple of days im just gonna return them and take the hit because since i just blew my engine i have to put 8k into that and dont have the extra to install these right now.

are these clutch disks all you have to upgrade if you wish to handle higher torque and hp ? or is there other parts of the transmission you need to modify as well?

the clutch pack and the seals and thats it, both i have! but the only problem with our trans is that the higher tq/hp the stock clutch starts to slip and these wont.

Sry if I'm being blunt...why sell it when ur gonna rebuilt ur engin? Since ur new engin gonna be stronger then stock engine and u prob. Gonna run higher hp/tq...u might as well install th clutch plates to compliment ur new engine...just my 2 cent...but g/l on ur built and I can't wait to see ur new engine's performance!

I was going to mention something along this line... but with an $8k plus engine rebuild, I'm sure the transmission is the least of worries right now. But I do think that you should find a way to hold on to them, you will need them in the future anyway.

+1 Keep it!

400$???
(that is one hell-of-a-restocking-fee)

If I had the kind of budget I would buy it from you.

Loose 400 to get 1,550? From financial view point I would do the same.
You loose 400 but get 1,550 towards your rebuild. If you really need the money.
