Hi all,

I completely debadged my RA a little while ago, and now I think I went a little too far :o So I would like to re-install the Ralliart badge back on the trunk.

Unfortunately I didn't have the foresight to measure the position of the Ralliart nameplate. If someone could please let me know the exact position of the badge, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Hard to describe EXACTLY where the Ralliart badge is on the trunk, but you can get an idea by looking at pictures. IMO, try holding the badge up to different areas of the trunk and pick a place that you think looks good. When I debadge mine, I'm replacing the Ralliart badge with one that's a little bigger and put it about an inch higher than the original location.

I can eye-ball it based on pictures, but didn't know if someone could measure how many inches above and to the left of the bottom right corner of the trunk the badge should go.

Some cars have logo placement mentioned in the service manual under exterior or alike. Haven't found that for Mitsu thus far.

I got .11" from the bottom of the trunk to the bottom edge of the badge and .15" from the right corner out the the side edge of the badge. So not quite an inch and not quite an inch and a half. Hope this helps.

Dude, post pics when you get that installed, that's almost perfect for what I want to do! The 09-11 is too small to just leave it alone after debadging.

Honestly the stick part you can just use ur hand and a micro fiber to wipe. Just heat it up a bit with like a hair dryer.

There is also #M adhesive removers that you can use if its really bad and you can't just wipe it.

I've used goo gone in the past and it works great. Make sure you follow up with cleaning the area really well with soap and water, and maybe some cleaner wax as well.

WD40 works just as well and is cheaper. Just a tip. ;)

thanks :D

I had wanted a bigger ralliart one for awhile but I didn't like the one that has the chrome connections between the letters. I recently searched ebay again and found these, bought them with no hesitation.

I realized I probably should have posted this in the other thread about emblems so I'll do that now. lol
