The Jim Russell Lancer Evolution Experience is going to be awesome. Did you ride in the GSR or the MR?

Thanks for coming up to the shop and hanging out too. That was great of Mitsubishi to put that day together.

3,300lbs with or without the cage? What will be the power & weight after the build?

3,300lbs. is with out the cage. We will weigh the car before it goes to Vegas and it should be getting tuned today or tomorrow. I will post numbers when I have them.

We expect power to be around 300+whp and weight is up in the air but we were hoping for around 3000lbs.

We expect power to be around 300+whp and weight is up in the air but we were hoping for around 3000lbs.

That would be sweet. I'm curious to see how you get it down to 3,000lbs. By taking out the interior, you cut under 200. Crunching the numbers, I believe I could cut the weight of my car by about 100 pounds (not sacrificing any of the interior). I don't want to go overboard too much because this is a daily driver. Being able to drop the RA to about 3,300 and keep all the amenities would be great though.

Remove A/C and maybe P/S (i would keep P/S though) and carbon fiber all the way around. Possible 3000lbs.

300+whp is gonna be a monster!

Not to get off topic but
I got a Project car 2000 Honda Civic Coupe with K20 AT 5spd no A/C no P/S @ approx. 2,400lbs Full interior 110mph at 3rd gear 6,700RPM never been dyno'd probably around 200+/-whp. I smoke porches, and most street cars on the road. No P/S is cool once you get use to it but hard to do sharp lefts and sharp rights turns back to back and you got to muscle it.

The final weight on the car came to 3241lbs. Although we did strip it down to around 3000 at one point with the cage and Evo X bits brought it back up to its current weight.

We are still working on a brake package. For now we are just using upgraded pads in the front. The front brakes are the same as the second generation eclipse GST and GSX so pads are available. The rear brakes are Ralliart specific and as we have found with the EVO X. There are no manufactures out there that are willing to make many different compounds of pads for just one model of one make. Most car manufactures use brakes from other models to reduce costs, although Mitsubishi seems to be doing it differently lately. We are looking at a few different possibilities for caliper replacement for the front and rear and getting rid of the solid disc on the rears for a larger vented one. We are also looking at Mitsubishi's design of the front rotors in order to make a suitable replacement.

The car is currently at 333whp and 324wtq.

The number 23 is our Rally Racing number. We use 16, 17, and 25 on road courses (tarmac tracks).

Thanks for all the kind words from everyone. We will have a parts list for the Ralliart posted soon.
