FS: Evo X Turbo Swap Kit!!!

Traded in the RA right before I did this turbo swap, so now it's been sitting around. Nobody local was interested, so it's time to post it online.

This kit is currently sitting at SSP-TX, so I will get updated pics with username when I can. Any questions can be pm'ed to me or even called to them directly.

The only thing this kit will need is a wastegate, as my turbo didn't come with one. I can have SSP get one for you or you can get one elsewhere (I've seen them go for $15 used on the forums).

I can also throw in an Evo X bov and/or Evo X intercooler kit if you need one. Literally anything else you need to do this turbo swap, either SSP-TX or I can provide for you.

Looking for $1600 shipped, but feel free to pm zip code and I might adjust price if shipping is less than expected - All the new OEM accessories cost around $1k, so for $600 more you're getting turbo/mani/downpipe and shipping included. Again, the kit is sitting in SSP-TX's shop right now, and it has all been looked over.

I don't understand why people are buying intakes and full exhausts for the stock RA turbo. You'll end up spending almost the same amount and gain 30-40whp with no room to grow and still no top-end power. This is the only cost-effective upgrade after Bryan's Basemaps. Luckily I have a full kit here that I want to get rid of, so pm me!

I am interested as I have decided it is not worth doing the CBRD stock turbo upgrade as the cost is 1 K for maybe 40 to 50 HP aprox. I do need to see a lot more pictures and spicifically of the turbo, down pipe, exhaust manifold, intake etc price is a little high for me but if all the parts were in real good condition I might be able to convince the wife.

The kit is sitting at SSP-TX. I was planning to use it myself so Eric@SSP inspected it to make sure it was worth using. All rated good condition. If you want further details feel free to call them.

I will get pics tonight while I'm up there though (was at the dragstrip all night last night)

and I'm always more flexible on price with serious inquiries/buyers. :D The posted asking price is mainly to leave room for shipping costs - the Turbo itself is heavy (it caved in the box it's in already lol), downpipe is big, etc etc.

again, these were all inspected by Eric over at SSP-TX. No cracks or anything on the turbo/manifold.

I'm flexible on price with actual buyers! No offense, I don't like to waste time with "just wondering, how much?.....oh that's too much, I wish I could" pm's ;)

EDIT: also realized as I was taking this pic that there are TWO 02 housings and turbo inlets. Used ones were left on the turbo when I bought it. If you're building this kit yourself or something, feel free to pm about buying them seperately. if you buy the whole kit, I'll throw in the extra ones

I like the idea that I am buying from another club ralliart member and that the parts have already been looked over by a pro and that I don't have to hunt down any additional parts, lines, gaskets etc. I would like to see a lower price as I believe the shipping, duty etc. is gonna be expensive. PM me what you believe to be your best price for everything and I do understand that I will have to re locate my battery to the trunk to use the Evo X intake.

We actually have pretty sick deals with shipping rates (our tuner works for Continental Airlines)

price is pretty firm as I've had 3 people tell me they're interested, just finding places to install and getting funds together right now. Once this one is sold, I plan to put together more because there is so much interest. It helps to work at both a dealership and a tuning shop :D

Well just bought my wife an new car paid off line of credit and all credit cards and borrowed extra for spending money for upcoming trip. So here'e the thing I would like to know how much for the kit if you take out the Turbo, exhaust manifold and down pipe as

I plan on going with the CRBD BBX Full turbo upgrade and the Ultimate racing 3 inch down pipe for the Evo X the one with the O2 housing etc built in and an aftermarket exhaust manifold. So PM me a price as I know you can easily sell the 3 main core parts for this upgrade without any problems.

Man, I wish I could afford it. It's not common that you have ALL of the parts in one package to do a complete swap, so this would be something to get if you're considering doing a turbo swap.

I don't feel the asking price is unreasonable - turbos and downpipes aren't cheap to ship fyi...turbo's are heavy and probably would be at least $100 to ship, let alone everything else.

anyway, want to let it go, so taking offers, but please consider that I'm covering shipping and making this a painless kit buy for the buyer - if a bolt or gasket ends up missing, I will get it for you and ship it next day air. Can also package an e-tune with it by Eric@SSP-TX
