Hi all, I looked around a bit but couldnt find a similar post so here it goes... Does anyone know how to get rid of the 10 second delay for the traction control? I have a 2011 Ralliart and you have to hold the traction control button down for like 10 seconds to get it to turn off.. I just thought it would be a lot more convienient if it could be turned on and off just by hitting the button.

If you're referring to the ASC button, then the delay is a normal thing as to my understanding. My RA has the delay as well as everyone else that I can think of. As far as getting rid of the delay, I don't think there are any easy solutions in doing so. I think the delay has to do with multiplexing in which the main computer talks to all of the other computers and sensors letting them know that the ASC is about to be turned "OFF". Sounds weird, but I think that's why the delay is present.

There's a mandatory delay in turning ASC off, but you can turn it back on instantly. This cannot be changed, it's that way in case someone bumps into it for whatever reason and deactivates their traction control, causing an accident.

Technically you are hitting the button, once to turn it off and once to turn it back on. Just a longer delay to deactivate it, not that big of a deal. It's actually about 5 seconds, not 10.

Its actually a 6.3 second delay....

And i always accidentally turn it off with my knee drifting through corners..

I just drafted the schematic to make a module to turn the traction control off when you start the car. This will give me the asc as being default "off", and if I want it on, I can turn it on. I'm excited..lol. I hate turning it off all the time
