Looks pretty good.

Mike if you're reading this, maybe we can salvage whats left of the project & revisit?

Honestly, this doesn't prove anything yet. It's not mounted on the car, it's not being tested and functionally operating. If this can happen, then I'll be surprised and will want a pair of them for mine.

back when we had this big idea, thinking it should work.
we ran into this issues, thought this isnt going to work but just need more creativity.

Im more of a visual person, I have to see it.

I dont know about all the other fitments or clearance.

Anyone can do that. We looked at that a long time ago. But since it involves grinding on the caliper it isnt viable for a shop to try to sell a kit. Everyone wants to get their own calipers used for cheap. So if you make a bracket along with instructions to go grind on your calipers here, here and here... well that is a recipe for sad customers. There isnt a solution to use EVO Brembos on the Ralliart without the end user having to do a bunch of custom hand work -or- without making the whole kit more expensive than $1900 worth of Stoptechs (which would come with lighter rotors and a caliper that has better pad choice).

I had free EVO calipers and a RalliArt with way too much power. I looked at it and decided it would be cheaper to just buy Stoptechs. If you put two EVO X rotors, two EVO Brembo calipers and pads and some adapter brackets all in a box you can hardly carry them. Bolt them all on the front end of your can and your stock shocks would say efff this ish and jump the first boat back home to Japan.

I heard that NSF RalliArt guy was going to put some of his adapter brackets back in production?

Yeah, I remember you was telling me about the knuckles.
I didnt like the idea of grinding things down to make knuckles fit.

lol @ "boat back to japan"

Yeah, Eric briefly committed to continue the project but since he has gotten an Evo, we're all middle redheaded step child. :D
Where are you NFSLancerRA or NFSEvo? lol.

I will be doing just that.

For the record, I am morally opposed to milling a large portion of the body of the caliper away. You stand a really good chance of damaging it due to the introduction of really intense heat close to the pistons (especially if you were to try it with the method as described). Keep in mind, we are talking about large pieces of Aluminum. It doesn't take much to damage these things. I helped the guys at Spec-Ops re-tap a mounting point on an Evolution X Brembo brake, because the caliper had stripped its threading away, completely. If you are convinced that you need a 4-piston caliper as well as a larger rotor, I cannot urge you enough to buy TheBrakeMan kit, instead of trying this.

My basic solution simply allows you to run a larger rotor. As an added benefit, the pad becomes slightly larger, as well. That is the name of the game. That setup is what 500 HP Corvettes REGULARLY run. Plus, you can retain the use of your stock wheels. The setup appears stock. I think that it is all that most people would ever need.

The ridiculous kit that I will also be reproducing is for those of you who want to go balls out. It is totally insane. I made it, because Bryan wondered if it was possible. It turns out that it totally is. The shock value of that kit is hilarious. I routinely had a crowd of people asking WTF they were at car shows. It was pretty cool to say, definitively, that they were the biggest brakes EVER fitted to the car. You couldn't fade them even if you really, really tried. The Z06 Corvette is faster than a Gallardo, and that system is designed to keep it in check. I love that. I love everything about the statement that they make. I will make that available to you guys as soon as I start production of the basic upgrade, once again.

Mike, I appreciate you turning that one guy onto my kit awhile back. I was just simply not ready to accommodate his request, at that time.

I will be spending some time in the metal shop next week, as I am off of school for Spring Break. I am going to finish the suspension setup if it is the last thing that I do. I will trade cars with Pierre for the week, if I have to, to get this stuff done.

You have people willing to buy those brackets whenever they're put back into production, including this guy, lol.

They are at the cutters, as we speak.
