(( dont know can this work or not))
hey guys,
i bought a set of xxr 527 in gold. The guy that dismounted the tires chipped parts of the paint.. xxr sucks at clear coats, the paint around the chips are peeling off. the chip is about 2cm wide.
Any recommendations on how to prevent it from peeling off even more? or somehow touch up the paint ??

thanks!!!

Um no, if he damaged the paint its all his. Tell him to buy you a new one or repair it.

Take it to a custom shop that specializes in wheel painting or repair. They'll be able to let you know how to proceed. Also, bring the car back up to the shop where the technician damaged the wheel and hold them accountable for it.

Also, post pictures using Photobucket or other photo hosting sites, linking pictures from Facebook doesn't work most times.

You also kinda need to be responsible for your own wheels. Mounting tires for most shops is 99% of the time not a cosmetic issue. Make sure you take it somewhere that has plastic coated tooling. And you should probably just buy a new one, as the time it takes you to get it refinished will probably be more expensive than a new one anyway. Good luck.
