View Full Version : Crating a custom 3" Borla Exhaust

My friend who is a welder in training had an idea to help build me an exhaust. So we did! Used stainless steel 3'' piping and got an XR-1 Borla muffler. Put it all together and here is the result. (UR short downpipe and UR resonated test pipe for TBE). Video included!

All our hard work paid off!

Props on custom exhaust. Those tips are like a square peg in a round hole though... :confused:

sweet, that looks like a fun custom project!! i had borlas on my SC400... even for a luxury car they had a great tone...

It hangs a little bit low, but I am going to get it fixed up by this weekend. was alot of work to get it all done adding in the downpipe and other stuff.

Yeah I was gonna ask any clearance issues? I've heard it's pretty tight under the car..

Yours looks good!
I'm not so sure about the tips though. haha

Throw a Evo X turbo on that bish and it'll sound even sexier.

Do you have a clip of your setup to hear, also what was final cost of all the parts you had buy?
