I know the weather has been on the cool side lately...but, doesn't the radiator fan suppose to be on once every so often?

my engine temp is not going any higher above the mid-line mark on my temp gauage...

I haven't heard or see the radiator fan on for awhile now...what gives???

Yes, when under 14mph. Unless you put A/C on, then Main fan is 70% duty under 200F water temp.

oic...so if the car is at highway speeds...the fan won't turn on then...

Makes sense... the air hitting the radiator at highways speeds would keep it much cooler than just a fan.

Yeah...cuz I'm kinda freaking out about it every nite I came back home from school...were my engine bay is freaking hot and the fan just sitting there and not moving...lol...maybe my mind is playing tricks on me...

As long as the temps aren't above normal on the dash readout and nothing's on fire, it's fine. This car gets extremely hot under the hood, but everything is designed to deal with the high temps. Try opening both hood vents and make the scoop opening wider.

Main Fan 14-30mph
Main Fan 30-50mph
Main Fan 50mph+
A/C Fan 14-30mph
A/C Fan 30-50mph
A/C Fan 50mph+
Main+A/C Fan 14-30mph
Main+A/C Fan 30-50mph
Main+A/C Fan 50mph+

Would there be any benefit to setting the fan to 100% on track days; i.e. if less than 14mph (cool down and idling) the fan remains on?
