Ams Reflash

Does any one know if ams will do a email reflash. I purchased there mini battery kit and intake but dont wont to mail out my ecu. Other wise TTP does a email reflash but i dont know how it will work with ams intake. Please help!!!!!!!

I'm pretty sure AMS does an email flash, but may I ask, where are you located?

Oh, okay. I don't know who the tuners in your area are. Just remember that you will need to get a tactrix cable if you want to reflash your ECU, and the cables seem to be sold out everywhere.

Well, good for you. I knew TTP had some cables, but I thought they were reserving those for people who bought their reflash. If not, then more power to you; you have a lot more options.

You might not want to buy either TTP or AMS's tune. GST is giving out a free reflash that you can download at

It is optimized for CA 91, so you might run a little rich. But if you log it, GST might be willing to remap it for your 93. Either way, you'll still be seeing a lot more power and a decent improvement over stock fuel economy.

That free GST reflash is for a RA that is completly stock so you do have to get a tune for that intake. Call either TTP or AMS and they both do email Flashes. Just call them and give them all your mods that you have on your car and either one will hook you up but I would recomend getting a custom tune and that way you'll get more power out of your car. Research any tune shops around your area and make sure they know what they are doing before you drop your car off to them

Good catch. I didn't notice that he bought an AMS intake. AMS's tune is probably the only right choice, unless you can find a local tuner.

I think im goin to give ams a call and talk to them. I reasearched all over the place and there are no good tuner shops around. Thanks guys

Yeah, if you've got an AMS intake, just go with the AMS tune. It doesn't sound like you have a dyno nearby. That's too bad. I'd like to see the before and after. Good luck!
