Man, even at 89... still too soon.
Thank you, Carroll Shelby, for all you've done for the automotive world. You will be missed.

Death by wrinkled fun bags? I wonder if there is any truth to this article:

I guess we all gotta go, sooner or later. At least he had a great life.
How he choose to live it is his own but fun bags huh? lol.
My co-worker say that same thing about tits.

Sad really. He was an old schooler that broke the mold when everyone else said it couldn't be done. The greatest part.. he still got a grin on his face when talking about new projects, and had no bones about todays new tech and saw it has 'interesting <grin>'. He always had something up his sleeve. Great designer, sorely missed.

The man had will, for damned sure.
I used to like Mustangs 65 era or the 80's era with 5.0 later found out about Shelby GT350 & GT500. Shelby Cobra & KR, Mach I.
They were great cars for the era.

My all-time dream car... either a 1969 Mach I 428, or 1969 Boss 302.
