Has anybody flashed with the V30.005 pre-release yet, or any other tune for the 2012 RA? Reason being is because i would like to flash to the boost pill on 93 octane version. And i would like to hear what you guys have to say about it. Maybe you can convince me to wait until the final versions are released. This would be my first time flashing the ecu. Its tempting to try it, especially after reading so many people talking highly of the gst tunes. I just cant wait. So if anybody has any advice, please speak up.

I decided to go for it. I have a feeling once i see just how much power a simple base map does, im gunna get really addicted. Lol which isnt a bad thing.

It's never ending. Once you get used to the new power, you wont think its enough. Then you want more and you spend more. Then once that's not enough you go for even more power. Race that thing! find local autocross car clubs and solo sprints

I am in love with it! It's amazing how a simple boost pill and gst reflash on 93 oct give me so much more noticeable power! Everybody that hasn't tuned yet, I advise you to do it. Can't go wrong.

Andy, could you tell me what you needed to do the flash?

For my particular flash, I needed the boost pill and v30.005 for a 2012 USDM Ralliart on 93 oct plus my computer and Tactrix. That was all. I'm just having a problem logging data after runs and actually viewing it after I pull it from my memory card. I need help with the evoscan software cuz I'm apparently not all that smart....somebody want to help me set everything up properly????

Standalone Logging on Tactrix OP2.0

Any time you plug your OP2.0 into your laptop via USB, you should be able to see its microSD card. To enable standalone logging, simply create a file named "logcfg.txt" on the card, containing something like:
; sample logging configuration file for openport 2.0
; must be named logcfg.txt and be placed in the root directory of the
; microSD card inserted in the openport in order to work

; this sample logs using the KWP2000 ReadMemoryAddress command over the ISO15765, which works
; for CAN based mitsubishis that have had their ROMs modified to allow the use of this command.
; this command is also known as "mode23" on some forums. since this command reads directly from
; ECU memory, the paramid addresses used are different for different ROM versions.

It lives over on EvoM.

We're up to v30.006 (http://forums.evolutionm.net/09-ralliart-engine-turbo-drivetrain/443880-2009-lancer-ralliart-gst-basemap-35.html#post10333013) now. :)

What are using to open it? Ecuflash?

Download the correct ROM ID XML definition file from goldenevo.com

For 2012 USDM Ralliart, the ROM ID number is 58030005. So you'll download "58030005.xml".

Put the file in your relevant EcuFlash directory, eg. "C:\Program Files\OpenECU\EcuFlash\rommetadata\mitsubishi\lanc er"

Restart EcuFlash.

Load ROM.

If it is happy, win. :)

Tencents, I downloaded the v30 version from evo.net to my laptop and tried to open it. I will try what Richard suggested.

Thanks for the advice!
