Just got this code when temperature when below 0 Celsius here. One day it was fine, next day when it was cold, started the car and noticed the CEL.

Asked a friend and he said this:

all it does
is retard your timing
to help warm up the cat you don't have
ecm monitors it to determine if its doing it or not
basic ignition timing vs specified ignition timing is 3 degrees or less
during retard control
its probably a throttle problem
or ecm problem
since your tuned, its cause of that

Yes this link is for Jags, but its the same thing.

Possible failure of OBD II Fault code P050B

Loose connection
(Air flow tube, Air cleaner)
IACV problem
MAF sensor failure
Clogged intake air line
IAT sensor failure

So, I am tuned with GST. I hope bryan can take a look at this.

Any help from you guys?

Do you get it all the time now or just this occurrence?

just now when temps hit 0. I used GST v2.7 at the start in spring when temps were above 0. So, this is the first time the car has been tuned and temps went below 0 (using v30.007).

I did clear the CEL and have not seen it since, but then again temps have not gone below 0 Celsius.
