How much power could I get out of my stock 2010 ralliart sportback, with just a tune, and no mods?

thanks!

I was able to get 247/283 wit just a catback, k&N Drop-in, and Boost Pill ONLY with the GST v2.5 (I Think) tune. With that said the AFR's was in the 10's SUPER RICH so I'm sure I could make much more power if I leaned the car out... BUT THAT WAS FOREVER GO. The car baselined I think 209 WHP on RRE's Dyno..

ok great... maybe I could get to around those numbers if I stayed lean...

You'd have to be tuned..... lol and keep in mind I had a Boost Pill which ALSO requires a tune be it a GST map or a full tune from your choice for tuner.

I'm thinking of Ivey Tune in NJ. I hear good things!

Just in case anyone else is interested, I found this thread which is exactly what I needed to know:

http://forums.evolutionm.net/09-ralliart-engine-turbo-drivetrain/483013-project-2010-ralliart-sportback-35.html

223 whp / 241 wtq

Boost after tuning: 18.5 psi peak (3200rpm), tapering to 10 psi (7400rpm)

Boost factory stock: 17.5 psi peak (3400rpm), tapering to 9.5 psi (6500rpm)

This is now making about the same horsepower as a stock Evo 10 on our dyno.

that's Razor AKA Bryan AKA GST Maps lol.....

There's a few of those if you go searching for the forums.

Awesome. I'm probably at under 200hp/220tq right now. 62k miles... tranny is starting to slip a little (I'm swapping the fluid this month, I hope that helps)... I doubt it's in top shape. But, I still managed a 14.178sec 1/4mile somehow. I can't wait to get some more power out of the car!

yeah you may want to address the tranny first those things are hella expensive and super sensitive. Take your time and do a search on this form and and others to see what actually works on our RA's. But there is deffenitly power to be made :)

This is now making about the same horsepower as a stock Evo 10 on our dyno.

Plus the RA has a smaller turbo that hits max boost lower in the RPM range than the Evo Ten, so the torque hits sooner and thus better street driveability.

You will be pleasantly surprised how much better your car feels flashing the GST basemap on the ECU (or better yet: a custom tune from a knowledgeable person/workshop). Without any changes to hardware, you'll likely see mid 13 quarter mile times.

Thanks! Since posting, I have installed evo x bov, gst v3 stock+pill. Very quick! Will bring it to the strip when it opens in the spring.

did you tune it yourself or you made someone do it?c
