I was browsing thru the net last night and ended up on edmunds.com and read few articles about how nismo is trying to push its brand, how Toyota/Subies is trying to blow-up the FRS, Ford and Scions' participation in WRC...

No where that I've seen mention anything about Mitsubishi's future plan from 2014 and beyond...

Is Mitsu gonna end up like Suzuki?

Post your thoughts....

Link source as far as for Nismos? FRS at Tokyo Auto Salon 2013? Please be specific...
Because if you are looking for Mitsubishi's plan from 2014 and beyond...I'm sorry but nobody mentions anything...so no link can be provided

Mitsu is going to be stateside for a while yet. The Colt is coming next year, along with a likely plug-in hybrid like the Volt. We'll see the EVO-XI and most likely a compact pickup, a segment currently unloved in the US market. Hopefully they can be price competitive (read: cheaper than everyone else.)

For what it's worth, I have heard from dealers, the Evo XI should arrive at some point in 2014 and will be a hybrid.

Yeah...i read similar stories about the Colt and hybrid Evos...but seems like other car companies is more aggressive then Mitsubishi....

Look at Lancers...same design for 5+yrs...while Outlanders get new designs...
Unless Colts is going to replace Lancers...in 2014

There should be a Colt-like vehicle joining the lineup in 2014, but I can't recall what the name is going to be.

I have strong doubts that Mitsubishi will stay in the USA for long, and I said that back in 2010.

How can a company sustain when the Galant has had few upgrades in years and the Eclipse declined for years.

They do have the technology such as diesel/hybrid and gas/hybrid...and from 2013 geneva show...2 concepts that mitsu introduced it's not bad looking...but somehow the mitsu brass is not all that enthusiastic about it...and the marketing strategies here in the states need to revamp as well...I just hate to see them end up like suzukis...

Reading this just made me really sad all of a sudden :( I hope it's not the case with Mitsu
