I just decided to open my hood today and saw my coolant tank near empty...and there is some sort of thick sediments sitting on the bottom of the tank...thank god the tank is removable I was able to wash it out...

Mine gets flushed every 2 yrs, best to stick with green stuff from Mitsubishi. By the way how can it possibly dried up unless a leak?

I use OEM with this:

RedLine Water Wetter. Works pretty good. Use it in all of my cars without any issues. You probably don't _NEED_ to use it, but it couldn't hurt!

I use OEM coolant.
Mitsubishi and Honda have coolant with phosphates and no silicates. Ordinary green stuff does have silicates.
Silicate coolant will destroy water pumps in both cars.

I know this because of things that happened to my parents cars.
