There are 2013 GST basemaps out. However, they're limited at this point due to lack of testing for some of the higher mod maps.

Bricked ECU's can be recovered.

Here is a link to the 2013 GST Basemap thread:

To clarify, I have a 2010 and put a 2010 map in there. The 2013 is included in the links I posted above, along with the thread. :)

My bricked ECU was recovered same day.

no need to be scared, its just like updating an iphone iOS or JB it. Its simple if you follow the instructions exactly.

Yeah, well, that's what I thought! Except if your iPhone freezes in the middle of an update you can just restart it and it's fine. If your ECU or laptop gets stuck (in my case there was a driver error for the tactrix, out of nowhere), you have to take the thing out of the car and bench it or bring it to a shop, and you're stuck without a car for a little while.

I'm sure people have gone hundreds of flashes with no problems...I did a couple no issues... but take it from me, bad things do happen and sometimes they're out of our control unfortunately

Read and reread all the instructions. Just try to hook up the cables, get the computer to recognize the device. Read your ROM, Save your ROM. Save it a couple more times amd make good notes that this is your Factory Stock ROM. Test Write your Saved Stock ROM. Take a breath, Write your own Stock ROM. Finally tear down that poster of that racecar in your garage and Write a Non Boost Pill ROM to the real car sitting in your garage.
