Wrecked both my drivers side factory rims and blew out the tires on a huge 4x4 hunk of lumber and Flo (the progressive chick) was nice enough to provide the funds for four new rims AND four new tires! Plus there was enough to do the the 60K mile service on the front, rear, and center diffs. And all it cost was my $250 deductible. I already had the SST services a couple weeks prior. So here she is. What do you guys think?

Lighter is def better on our cars, how much weight did this setup cut?

In runnin evo x bbs, with goodyear F1s, and i went from something like 52lbs, down to 42lbs per wheel, and its easily noticeable..

The stock wheels have to be at least 30ish lbs maybe more. I'm just guessing by having picked up the damaged ones with no tires mounted. I went as light as I could afford to. As for the fender gap I think I'll end up keeping it. I want to do some blasting down dirt roads and such so I don't want to go lower. I'm actually looking for some struts with rebound and compression dampening adjustability so I can keep it from bottoming out on rougher roads and if it gets any air. That's all a bit down the road though. I want to get the power stuff sorted first. Then have the trans beffed up by Jacks. We'll see, she's a blank slate as of right now but I think I want to go a different route than the lowered street demon path. Or I may end up on that road. Who knows? But I must say smoking G35s is fun, right Mark?

Here's a crappy cellphone pic from the rear. Sorry it's the best I could manage.

I am going to lower it I think. The more I look at it the more that wheel gap bugs me. I don't want to go super low so I'm thinking about the Eibach pro-kit springs. But then I've got to do the whiteline roll center kit. But do it right the first time, right?

You should go with koni yellows struts. They give you adjustability and if you don't want to do springs you can flip the spring latch and that gives 10mm or 20mm drop with stock springs. But if you want a small drop go with h&r oem springs. They will only give you a .75" drop plus flip the perch on koni yellows should eliminate some gap but still let you go off road some with out to much worry

Where did you find them? Can you post a link and possibly part numbers? It was my understanding the Koni didn't make struts for the Ralliart. I'd love to be wrong about that!

Maaaaan! You got me all hopeful!! It's all good I'm probly going to leave it stock for awhile since my front factory struts are brand new now. Plus it irritates the HELL out of the stance people. Which I find really amusing lol.
