Took the black beast up to big bear this week for some twisties and fun in the snow with the famdamily. When I got back I was pumping gas and noticed that the airflow around the antennae had formed in an interesting way around it. Got out the camera with the macro setting on and documented it. I guess I find odd things interesting...

you should make mini vortex generators for it and retest.

Mmm... Vortex generators... ~drools~
Big bear was great but too many pot holes for my taste. Lots of snow still, however it's icy in the morning and slushy in the afternoon. It hits about 45-50 mid-day so it's nice and warm but not the best for shreddin'...

I took mine for a cruise up through 50 or so miles of Gila State Park in NM once. Great roads but after 20 miles of spirited driving the brakes faded to nil... damned heavy car. Did you experience any of that at Big Bear?

I was not pushing the brakes hard so I didn't get a chance to see them fade. I have done much closer drives only to find the brakes fade real quick. That's one of the things I plan to address next. If I go the cheap route it will be SS Brake lines and upgraded pads. When I find a large wad of cash on the side of the street I will go for a full brake system upgrade with brembos.

Lines sound great. I'm planning on them too. Anyone here know if the brake cyl needs to be further reinforced to increase brake response, longevity(not fading), and pedal feel?
