please help key wont turn

what do i do? the key won't turn. i tried 2 different smart keys and even took the key out and tried it manually but still no go... i have no idea what to do and now i can't get to work

So far for my car, the only time its happened was a steering column issue and because i left the car in neutral. And once because i got gas, and i left the car radio on, and i had to turn the car off to restart it.. Sorry to hear this, hope you made it to work..

check your shifter. did you happen to turn off the car with the shifter in gear?

I've had this happen a couple times and just had to wiggle the steering wheel.

my girlfriend drove my car the night before due to snow and she must have turned the car off before putting it in park. she has a habit of doing that in her own car... i did end up just moving the steering wheel and that worked... i was 20 minutes late but everything is cool now... thanks for the replies. this site has been very helpful
