I'm buying my first car today and ofcourse it is going to be a RA.
I called the dealer and they have exactly what i was looking for. Graphite Gray with the recaro package....

I test drove one a few weeks back and it felt like i was driving a mini rocket.

Oh and one question... How does the RF sound system sound?

So Basically, the dealer sold the GG RA that I claimed (fail) so they are giving me all sorts of deals on a white one.

-White
-Recaro Package
-Front Blackout kit
-evo plate mount
- They are going to tint my windows

ALL UNDER 30K INCLUDING NY TAX (which is almost 10%)

I think I can deal with white.....

the base price is almost 28k plus recaro package and NY tax would make the car 33 grand and change...I am getting it for under 30k including the 3k in State tax. I thought that was a great offer with the extra odds and ends they are throwing in. (I am basically getting the Recaro package for free)

We get spoiled in So Cal with South Coast Mitsubishi (mitsubishisuperstores.com) Kind of warps our reality. Other dealers effing HATE them.

I saw a RalliArt on a lot at a normal dealer for well into mid $32k on the dealer window sticker with the Recaro package and the navi/Rockford Fosgate dealio. I about pooped a twinkie :-P I had no idea people would pay that for a RA.

So your $30k out the door in NY is not too bad at all, all things considered.

I paid 24k after it was done in arkansas, the sticker was 33k but after a week of negotiations and the last day of a month deal, I got what i wanted!!!!

i just bought mine 2 weeks ago with the Recaro, navi and light package, and out the door price was $34,100. So i think you are in a good price$ range, considering you're in NY. Good Luck on your purchase.
