Greetings, since the original fitment Yoko's Advan A10A are rare as rocking horse **** here in UK due to the size has anyone fitted 225 40 18 in lieu of standard 215 45 18? do they fit 7" rim ok? and do they fit under the wheel arches? was gonning to run AVON ZZ3's as they were superb on my previous EVO IX I had for last three years.
cheers Stevie

Yep they would for sure fit on the rim. Your speedometer would be a few kmph off, but who watches that anyway, right?

Greetings,
after several punctures and the original Yoko's Advan A10 tyres perishing and splitting between the tread blocks on the outside and hassles getting the original 215 45 18 tyre size, rare as rocking horse poop in the UK, have settled on 225 40 18 Avon ZV5's, good tyre, wider, lower profile only about 3-4% out on circumference, good grip in the wet and dry, great steering and man oh so very quiet on our rough old roads, especdially the concrete roads in ESSEX kindly donated by the USAF during the last war... finally cheaper than the 215's,
good call or what?
much reccomended and suit the wheel without any great bulge for rim size.
