K, you gotta teach me this. Any empty parking lots by you with no cops?
This one is a little bit harder.

Watch the scene when they show him steering.
One quick swift movement with left hand & right hand steering shifting & e-braking.
I know its a subie but Ken Block is a great driver.
Because of him I almost bought a subie. lol
But its not about the car, its the driving techniques.
Although the car with 530whp would definitely make losing traction lit bit easier.
Grabbing steering from 5-7 o'clock for more angle left or right.

Hah! MTZL's school o drivin!
Makes perfect sense, haven't had an opportunity to read in depth tho - sorry!
Watch it pay attention to 5:16 on...
Learn it, practice on open area no curbs, no potholes where wheels can clip,
ie track auto x, dirt & gravel rally x.

e-brake is your friend. you can steer wit throttle. Left foot brake.
Im getting more use to it. but need money for tires..
since our tire are 7" width you can lose traction easier..

I am still burning up my factory Yokos, but I was able to get the rear to rotate in AutoX with steering input in a throttle off situation. Once I get teh front ARB on, I'm not sure that will be the case so much anymore, but with the fabulous steering rack and excelent brakes this car has, learning to turn in better and left foot brake to spool teh turbo for corner exit may be the faster way to go.

The trick to (well at least with the stock setup) turn in better is steering input timing vs speed/momentum (compensate for understeering) with throttle off, Steer before the turn Because momentum will make you understeer & no matter how much you turn it wont. So you have to use that to your advantage by turning before the turn similar to rwd drifting but a lit different.
(you should know where your left side & right side of your car ends from Driver seat perspective to clip apex)
clip or get as close to apex as possible, & throttle on, both hands on wheel in the beginning hold the steering angle turn in more if needed & countersteer in minor adjustments if necessary take mental note how fast & what steering angle @ when.
After awhile you wont need to left foot brake or brake at all. Once you learn how momentum effect traction & direction you'll be able to push the Ralliart more to its limit but to drive pass the limit is another story....
It been awhile... so here it is...

DO NOT TRY ANY OF THIS AT HOME or on the street!
Scandinian flick is also called feint drift which can be done by awd.

That above picture is for RWD mainly... with our cars I think it would be mostly throttle control and less counter steering.

Yes less counter steering, I posted this as a ref. On Contrary once you apply more than half throttle, it kinda behave like RWD not completely true but it does. I spun my RA out before doing this inertia drift on second drift not enough steering to the outside apex & gas too soon.
For ref its #4 diagram area, if you look at the wheel angle before #4, thats how my wheel angle was but it needed to be at past#4 diagram angle.
So when I floored on the gas it spun me out.

i feel like driving sideways came naturally to me lol, when i got my first car i would rip the E brake around all day and i had perfect control since it was easy fwd gts. a friend of mine let me take his rwd car around and i was easily able to handle it because of my practice in snow in a awd car. so honestly i think practice is all it takes- i have a friend who wants to get into drifting and has been reading articles and watching videos on how to drift but cant drift worth crap cause he tries to overthink it. I think once you gain experience pushing the limits of your car this stuff is second nature. but some key points- definitly come into a corner at a decent speed(dont overshoot), throttle control and steering input is key.
