Hey guys I recently put an aem truboost controller on my car and unplugged the stock boost controller, it threw the check engine but then went back off. My problem is isthat the car surges, when it hits about 12-13 psi it kicks back down to 9psi... what can i do to fix? tune it?

Plug the stock solenoid back in electrically. That is the first thing to do.

Running to much boost will get you some limp mode. But you should not be getting that at 12-13 psi. You may have a boost leak.

Plug the stock solenoid back in electrically and report back.

MBCs and static duty cycle EBCs typically dont do well with super small turbos. You will get too much peak and spike in order to hold something decent at high RPM.

well we started out with it plugged in and it would not allow the aem to take control??? it would only stayat the stock psi...

The solenoid needs to be plugged in electrically. But all the hoses would would go to the Tru-Boost.

Still something does not add up.

I dont know what you mean by "plug it up". But the electrical connector to the stock solenoid needs to be connected to keep the SES light off.

What are _all_ your settings at on the Tru-Boost?

right connect the stock one up but then take the hoses off of the stock one? is that what you are saying? I am not sure of the current settings a buddy is the one that installed it.

Yes the hoses will be disconnected from the stock solenoid. The hoses would be connected to the AEM solenoid now.

You get this thing off e-bay with no instructions?
