I can't believe that all the effort I put into putting Evo wheels, and now the 2011 Ralliart is going to come standard,

I would have posted this in the proper section (articles), but apparently

Funny, you are probably right. Of course it's everything that you would want to see happen. Better wheels and tires, lighter weight, more power, manuel transmission :)

Not to burst anyone's bubble but this was common knowledge back in January you Guys LOL !

I don't know about the American models but the 2011 Canadian model will get the bigger wider fenders to accomodate the new wheel and tire combo that should of come on our cars in the first place and the option for Standard tranny will also be available.

What they are doing to keep the price down is to take out other options like the Recaro seats and HID headlights which came as standard equipment on the Canadian Ralli art package. Rumour has it they will either do away with or add a price increase for the premium package that had the sunroof, Nav Package and so on.

i don't think so , its manual transmission |is bad , it has a regular five-speed manual transmission to gear your speed up .

all this is just rumors. i went into my dealership the other day asking the same questions, if it were true. the manager brought me in and showed me the 2011, its the exact same. there is no manual option, there are no bigger fenders, its all the same. Someone just started a rumor on a forum somewhere about all of this, and it spread.

The 2011 manuals (as in "brochures") at my dealer showed the same car as available in 2010. The only transmissions listed as available if you were to order one from the Mitsubishi site were autos. I cant speak as fact since my dealer had'nt recieved any actual 2011's yet (or have any 2010's on the floor for that matter) but he told me they were going to be the same car. And unless Mitsubishi revamped their site in the last 3 weeks I believe him. It may have been their goal for 2011 but I dont think they met it, maybe 2012?

The only difference I see in the 2011 models is no Recaro option, and the FUSE Hands-free Link System™ with USB input.

I think I am happy with the money I saved on my 2010 version.

I work at a Mitsubishi dealership, and have a 2011. Here are the changes:

- FUSE Hands-Free (includes Bluetooth audio)
- FAST Key operation is a little different. You use the button on the door to both lock and unlock. I preferred the old method honestly.
- No Recaro package (in the US). Only major package is the Touring Package now in the U.S.

This whole manual transmission, increased hp, wider fenders rumor is getting so annoying. It came out as a 2010 rumor, then a 2011 rumor - as if people just forgot about it being rumored for 2010 already, still falling for it.

If you wait around for the 'perfect car' you may as well get a bus pass.....
