dose anyone other than me get a big pile of black smoke coming out the tail pipe when they put the hammer down? cuz evry other RA or evo in my area that i see giver has a big clowd of black smoke come out the tail pipes

This is normal, all turbo cars do this. I think the basics of this are, when you "hammer it", the ECU dumps a bunch of fuel into it, so you don't end up with a lean condition once the turbo spools. Basically there is a second when the air needs to catch up with the fuel. Poof black smoke. Power. Bye bye. ish

Had this happened to me just now.
I got off the freeway, speed limit turn.
I notice a newer Honda Civic was following me. again Im doing +5mph speed limit
two lane road, both lane open & he speed up to next to me on the right & the light turn red on the coming up light, he cut me off to get in front of me, I got road rage, I got in the lane he was in, cause he cut me off.
& this fool thought he can just get in front of me like that, I had to show him who is the top dawg.
Light turn green He tried to keep up but I embarrassed him.
I slowed down for him to catch up & I smoked him again.
I kinda failed. I over rev'd on third INTO 7K. Black smoke.
