So yesterday....

....I backed up into another car.

I was backing out of a parking spot and bam I hit a guy that was parked in an illegal fire zone area with his lights off (it was like 11 PM). The guy was in his car.

There are not any dents, just the paint chipped to the plastic.

The other guy didnt have any dents either, just looked like my paint rubbed off onto his.

How much would a touch up like this cost me because it sort of was my fault.

Ouch. You should claim he rear ended you... No wait. He power slid into the red zone so he could rear end you. The damage is obvious. ;)

Here in Cali, parking lot accidents are usually split 50/50 by ins co - no matter who might have been at fault. Looks like maybe $500 or so to repair the bumper which wouldn't include paint blending into other body parts.

That hurts! Whats with everyone messing up their RA's? It shouldn't be too expensive. Just a hassle to get it done.

Take the rear bumper off its easy & take it to the best auto body shop & get it buffed out & repainted. approx. 500-/+ dollar for shop. Make sure its a best auto body shop that does excellent color match *very important* you dont want two dfferent White on your car & Make sure its Wicked White.
Remove your reflector too. Anything the bodyshop have to do it will cost you extra. ie: rear bumper removal & license plate & reflector & anything thats not getting painted remove em.
