Are there any other aftermarket turbos available we can swap for the RA stock turbo? Other than getting an evo X? What are the advantages or disadvantages over just swapping for an evo X turbo? Cost? Performance limitations?

None that will directly bolt on like the EVO X stock turbo or the EVO X upgraded turbos (FP Red, CBRD BBX) will. Any other turbo in the world _can_ be made to fit. But you would need to make a custom exhaust manifold or adapter, custom oil lines and water lines, custom turbine outlet ("O2 housing"), down pipe, heat shields, compressor side piping, turbo inlet....

Turbo
EVO X Turbo can be modified with custom internals.
If you want aftermarket turbo you should research on the fitment to EVO X
Advantages
EVO X = cheap power mod, bolt-on with all necessary parts from EVO X, can get from Evo X owner that upgraded their turbo.
Will be ok with stock RA clutch.
Cost
I got EVO X all the following parts for 1,000.00 total.
Turbo, Wastegate, Exhaust Manifold, O2 Housing, FMIC, LICP, UICP
need 300.00 in misc parts (ie coolant line, gaskets, inlet elbow, bolts, etc.)
so for $tune$ +1,300 I'll have all the parts needed for turbo swap. +?$ for Tune after swap.
(not including labor)
Disadvantages
the bigger the turbo the more lag you will have
Although I've heard of advancing MIVEC timing to help reduce lag.
Once you get custom turbo your cost will go through the roof.
Thing dont fit right = more money. *you will need TC-SST upgrade*
Performance Limitations
Evo X turbo will be about 300whp max. (correct me if Im wrong)
anything more than 300+ you will need bigger fuel injectors & fuel pump.
NOTE:
You should plan out the built before you actually do it.
What r your plans for power? how much power do you want?
What r u gonna do with the power?
Drag, AutoX, Rally, or Street-able?
Since I drive my Ralliart on a daily base, Im planning on keep it street legal with ALL EVO X parts & planning to get descent MPG for the power.

My car makes that WHP with an intercooler, piping, cat back, EVO X BOV and a tune. Stock turbo. I tried to get you to drive it but your mom called and you had to get home before the street lights came on ;-)
