Hi, my name is Paul and I have a 2009 RalliArt in Rotor Glo Orange. It is stock so far but I am looking to change that. I live In Barrie, ON - about 45 mins N. of Toronto....anyone close by?
What are the first things I should look at to upgrade acceleration?
Intake? Exhaust? Remapping the chip?

welcome to the club!
I wouldnt worry about intake if I were you.
Go to your local reputable tuner with a dyno,
Install a boost pill. (best cheapest reliable power gain)
Get a Custom dyno tune.

What is a BOV?

TheBlackBeast

BOV= Blow Off Valve
A required piece of hardware for turbos to operate.

As a heads up, it's usually best to post new questions you have in:
a) the appropriate forum (i.e.: general questions in the general forum)
and
b) a new thread instead of adding onto an existing thread.

Keep on learning! There's a lot of cool stuff to learn about on these cars.

what kind of brake upgrades? pistons? calipers? rotors?

keep it simple...just get pads...it's cheaper

geargrinder had project mu, he loves it...ask him for details....

otherwise for overkill...brembo upgrades or endless or stoptech...i pretty sure last 2 i mentioned had a set of complete break upgrades...

but of course ur looking at $$$$$$$$$$$ to spend on breaks...

my plan for my car is keep it simple and keep it "legal"...

all evo x upgrades (-turbo for now)
3" stealth exhaust (turboback...hopefully)
0.75" drop
then project mu's

hope this helps u...
