Nice guy wanted a crack at the Baby Evo so we lined it up at my local track Toyota Speedway in Irwindale, CA. In Car Cam Sport Auto. He was fast :eek:
My mods are an Injen intake, Injen upper I/C pipe kit, Axel back exhaust, And a custom dyno tune by Mike W @ Road Race Engineering. Feel free to comment.

8.752, It was a hot night and the track prep seemed bad, Lots of guys left early cuz of this. My best was an 8.591 on a good night, I walked a new Wrx (Cocky owner) with similar mods as me. No vid on that run tho. I was very happy to break helmet time (8.599 or faster at my track) Do you think its better in car cam or from the stands like my other track vids?

I think you should concentrate on driving.
I enjoy in car view too if you can set it up on video edit s/w to get multiple angles would be pimp!
I want to setup in car cams but no budget til maybe next yr.

Unless you can get that hard mounted, I think one from the stands is better...

Yeah it's all about Budget. It was pretty easy holding the camera and putting up good times. SST Ftw. ;)

Idk but Im pretty sure, You can get it into the low 13 or maybe high 12.

A 12.9 would be great. My buddy did a 13.2 in his X MR and i beat him recently by about 2 cars almost 3.

what are your current mods??? How much do you pay per 1/8 mile?
Infineon Raceway is $50.00 on Wednesday for 1/4 mile.
Im going there after my X FMIC install. I'll start a thread & post my time.

If you are beating 13.2 1/4mile Evo X by three car length you should be in flat 13 or high 12 for sho'!

It's $20 To run unlimited @ Irwindale. It's only 8th but our RA's do well there (AWD, Short gearing w/qwik shifts, No lag).

He was a nice guy but after the race he told me he was catching up, And if the race was 1/4 mile he would have got me. I should have showed him the video.
