View Full Version : what to buy from Japan if shipping was free?

So my girlfriend is in japan for a couple months and she keeps urging me to buy some parts and have them sent to her to bring back home. I'd prefer not to burden her with something as big as a RA front lip so I was just wondering what you guys would get (from a site like japanparts) for your RA if shipping was not an issue. If I can't find anything else ... I might just do RA lip or autofolding reverse mirror (will require modification for us spec). Possibilities are endless!:eek: think of stuff that will fit in suitcases though :).

rare mitsu emblems? shift knobs? hmmm...steering wheels? havent read anything about steering wheel upgrade but that would be ill 4sho.

Unless you've got that JDM fetish; most of that stuff is just horribly marked up average parts. The RA front lip and maybe some emblems (like the poster above recommended) are the only things I can think of that you can't get in the US. As far as actual parts are concerned you can get better stuff for lower prices if you stay away from JDM stuff.

On a serious note:

I would look for anything Ralliart stuff/accessories or Galant Fortis stuff for Ralliart.
Hard to find Ralliart stuff/accessories in US.

a new black RA badge without the 'ralliart' letters is on the way. the outline is black but the stripes are still orange/red

How did you get them black out?? Film?

How much was the badge???

shit id get the Mitsubishi: SKI & SNOWBOARD ATTACHMENT (LONG TYPE)

and put some flood lamps on them for rally time :D

yes i used laminx film. i dont like the matte look of nightshades since they do eventually wear with time and need to be reapplied. i've had laminx on my last car and its still holding up just as nice as the day it was put on (about 4 years now). also, it matches the reflective look of my tints/the oem clearcoat of the car. the badge was about 15$ usd, and i checked and can't get anymore. which kind of makes me happy for having a one-off:D
