View Full Version : Tein Basic Coilovers
Has anyone tried this setup yet?
I think you should look into the most adjustable coil-overs. Basic is just bleh...
I havent crossed that road yet so Idk.

I haven't run across anyone using them at evom either.
@MTZL I think I'm going with megan racing coils. Just waiting to sell my Tein springs to ralli_kid. I think I'll be fine with stock height for a couple more months. Other than teins and megan's, do you know any other brand that are making coils for our cars?

BC racing has some.
IIRC, TEIN Basic coils only adjust ride height. As others have said, I'd look into other coilover options that are cheaper, as well as provide more adjustable features. Base Lancer coilovers will also fit the RA.

KW has the Variant 2, Variant 3, and ClubSport for the RA. Not to mention that KSport has quite a few options as well. Works has there HotBits line available for the RA. And Racing Logic also has a RA setup. As far as BC and Megan go there are pretty much the exact same; I know people think/say BC is the high end and Megan the low end but the BC's are pretty much the Megan coilover with a paint job. I don't care too much for Megans; they tend to be okay for the first 5k miles or so then the problems start. I'd stick with KWs or HotBits.

Do you have links for the KWs and HotBits?
