Anyone know how to clear the asc/acd service required indicator lights? I already tried turning the car off and waiting five minutes before turning back on. I also tried disconnecting the battery and waited a good half hour before reconnecting to no avail. I know it's probably something I have to take to the dealer to get cleared, just thought I'd try my luck here to see if there were any easy fixes. Also the dealer of choice for me is an hour and a half away, so I wanted to make sure it's a dealer must before I make my way down there. There are dealers closer to me they just don't do it for me to be frank. Taking it to South Coast for those who want to know.
How many miles do you have on the car?? Got a pic of the problem?

You are referring to the TPMS correct? I did not switch out the tires or anything of that nature. I had to swerve going about 75 mph on the freeway to avoid hitting a dog. The light came up about 15 minutes after that. I always drive with my ASC off so I don't think the car thought I was trying to drift or something and made the light come up. My ASC and ACD are fully disabled. I cannot turn the ASC on it has remained off. Also since my ACD is disabled I cannot switch the vehicle road conditions; you know cant switch from tarmac to gravel to snow. I think it's a dealer must. Also don't think it's a mileage or service reminder since my asc/acd is disabled.
Take it to the dealership that you can remotely trust.. Get them fixed under warranty. You should be cover you only have 11k miles. Sounds like a sensor or electrical problem.

If you can stop by RRE I can give it a shot with the various readers and clearing programs we have. No charge for code checking and clearing. We'll be at the shop late (10 pm) tonight.

Dunno if it would be covered due to all of my mods.

I just got the exact same error this morning. I was pulling out of the parking lot is a lot of slush and snow and went into a power-slide and switched the driving mode to "Snow" while in the slide. That's when the "ASC Off" and "Service Required" indicators came on. Shutting the car off made the messages go away.
I had this too. Its just a service reminder.
To clear it, get into the RA
push "INFO" button til it shows the wrench
Push "INFO" button again & hold it. Wrench will flash & it will reset.
Make sure you pull over turn the car off. close all doors. & reset.
One thing I notice is ASC & AWC is disabled when you get the service warning.
I almost lost control of my RA on a fast turn, I got sideways & was sliding around left & right, Left & right.
My rear tires were balding so it didnt help. That was awhile ago... I have new found confidence in my RA since then.

Wow this is an old thread! Anyhow my problem was more serious then just turning the vehicle off to clear the lights. I guess when I swerved my alignment got thrown so far off that the computer was unable to calibrate itself and made the lights come on. I had to take it to the dealer to have the lights cleared and get the alignment done. I also had my struts give out shortly after which contributed to the problem. It's all fixed now so no worries!

This wasn't the case on my RA. Tapping into the maintenance option to clear the codes wasn't available to me at the time. I had no access to any of the car's computers for lack of a better word. My ASC/ACD was fully disabled, all I could do was pretty much get in start the car and drive. My RA ran like crap at the time, was seriously considering selling the car at the time since I thought I damaged the tranny/rear diff and I am no longer covered under warranty because of my mods.
