Can you tell what is making this noise?

I noticed this within the last week and have some ideas of what it could be, but I am not sure what it is. You probably will need to turn the volume up pretty loud on your computer to hear it. Listen when I turn the wheel mainly to the left and then I slowly back out of turning to make the sound again. The sound is similar to a spring compressing and decompressing, at least that is the best I can come up with to mimic the sound.

It happens when I am steering left. I did the same thing in the other direction and it did not make that sound 98% of the time.

Some ideas I thought were a bearing or a cv joint but I figured I would bounce it off you guys before I start taking stuff apart.

60K+ miles are on the car

I'm not saying this is what it is,,, but I had an Audi at one time that made that exact same noise when the power steering rack was starting to go..
Just a place to start looking..
