Injen Cold Air Intake!
I have an Injen cold air intake that I would like to do some independant testing with. Here is the deal I am offereing.
I would like a local stock car. Injen Cold Air Intake (street price is $345) Install (about 1.5 hours, normally $120) Dyno Tune (Reflash normally $400) We will dyno the car before the install with the car all stock. We'll log AFR, knock, boost etc) We will install the Injen intake. We will dyno the car again logging everything again with out tuning. Then tune the car with the intake installed. You keep the intake and all your stock parts. You get dyno charts for everything and a good tune. Expect 240-250 safe whp. You keep the Injen intake. Now how much would you pay for all this? Huh? How about $400 for everything! It is free stuff how ever you look at it. If anyone in So Cal with $400 wants to take advantage of this deal let me know! Mike W |

Welll we got the car on the dyno this afternoon/evening. His car was the highest stock HP RalliArt I have seen. 226-227 hp at the wheels. Other cars I have seen were 212-216 whp. Maybe this was because it has some good break-in miles on it...
We did three pulls at the same coolant temperature with the car all stock. Then we swapped out the stock filter and air box for the Injen Cold Air kit. The instruction look crazy but mostly because they are so detailed. The bumper cover does need to come off for the install. But it isnt that bad. The bumper cover took is about 10 minutes total to get off. Overall the install of the intake was about 1 1/2 hours with the two of us doing the work. Here are the results after installing the intake with no tuning: http://roadraceengineering.com/ralli...20injen-hp.jpg Boost stayed essentially the same: http://roadraceengineering.com/ralli...njen-boost.jpg More pics and tuning info to come. Nice! What's your overall impression of tuning the Injen intake?

Heres pictures from the day, sorry the quality sucks cause I took it from my phone and the blurriness was from all the excitement anyways, mike has better pictures cause he used a real camera, but you get the point.
