I have the HKS legamax w/ center pipe. I like it. It's definitely much more expensive than UR if you go the full HKS exhaust route. I'm estimating 2k+ for the full setup, I still need the hi flow...

The recall is for the fuel line. There shouldn't be any reason for them to check your ECU. I had the recall done along with the AWC reflash and my car has been tuned + AMS boost pill.
