Mike, sorry to get this thread back on track, but bmanuhutu mentioned the actual price of the Injen CAI in another thread. It seems a bit pricey to me and somewhat limiting because the location of the intake cone restricts some other modifications that I might want to do.
I come from the Subaru world, and as far as all most of the tuners were concerned, the stock airbox in the WRX was never that much of a bottleneck. It flowed a decent amount of air and that, combined with the fact that it was actually pulling cold air from outside the engine bay, put it very low on the hierarchy of mods.
There seem to be some decent gains to be had, but if my ultimate goal is to convert over to a twin-scroll setup, is this really something I should be looking at?
