Default 255/40/18?

Hello Ladies/Fellas,

Hope everyone is doing good. I have the opportunity to purchase some barely used Goodyear Eagle GT for a really REALLY REALLY good price!

They are 255/40/18. I currently have 245/40/18 on Evo X Enkeis. Do you guys think i would have to do some adjustments to make these fit?

Thanks!

For a 255/40 tire, the recommended wheel width starts are 8½". I think you'll be alright. Maybe some more experienced members can chime in here.

8.5 inch wide wheel as a minimum is a must for 255 tires. I would go for a 9 inch wide wheel for those though.

Been good, finally got the body work done on the RA. As far as meets go, RRM is hosting a Halloween BBQ meet on Oct. 29. There's also Hot Import Nights on Dec. 3 and Autocon on Dec. 10. Just hit me up

You might need to flare it out a bit depending on how low the offset on the wheels are.
