No just metal.. Don't drill too deep or hard, the rubber "bolts" that hold the plate on are a bit diff than regular kinds.. So they flex a bit.. If you want a crazy secure plate holder? Take the bumper off and bolt it in properly.. But, on there's no sensors or anything there....
