I work for Toyota and am going to solve all of your questions lol. They car itself is MUCH smaller than it appears. I am 6'2" and can barely fit into it. It has OK looks for a Scion but doesnt really tickle any part of my body. We got the first one in florida and it was won by a kid. It was a 6-speed though which made me actually squeeze in and take it to the gas station to fill it lol. Low end power is NOT there. A supercharged version would do it wonders. I could cherp them going into second but you can do that in a Scion TC as well. The exhaust note is very poor and is almost none exisitant. The TC has a much better tone. Once you get to about 45-50 excelleration is limited. Brakeing is fair for the car. Suspension is really not that good for a sports car. The RWD helps make it a little better but not much. The interior to me seems poorly done BESIDES the seats. The seats are my favorite part to the car lol. All in all nothing special. The guy who said the Ralliart would spank this car was 100% accurate! Wait about a year at least before you think about buying. Kinks are almost certain!

What do you mean? They had one demo car that's not for sale in an effort to entice people to try it out and then place orders.

I was looking with my Dad- he's contemplating getting rid of his massive truck since all he does is commute with it anymore. He had a pretty major neck surgery so a real purpose-built performance car is no good since it'd have rock hard suspension. He still wants fun and decent gas mileage. I think it fits that bill well. Good overall car for DD.

Performance car- that's track ready out of the box? Not so much.

Gotcha. Nope they let me live.

There was a lot of interest. Seems like they would have sold 10 while I was there. None in stock though...

Rode in my friend's Subaru BRZ Limited. It already has Tein Flex coilovers, Volk CE28s, and also a thicker rear swaybar from an OEM 2008 STI. It is a fun little car and adding that swaybar makes it easy to kick out the back end lol.

yeah...but for $27000 BRZ...I personally cant justify that price for a mere 200 hp car though...If they come out 280/300 hp about $27000 to $30000...then I would say yeah...it's worth it...

Look at our RA's about $26000 or few thousand more...literally same options...more hp/tq compare to BRZ...

Sexy looking car nonetheless...

Yep- same. Our car isn't nearly as neutral or balanced compared to the 86.... That said, for 30k you can make an RA a complete beast.

I think when it's time to see the RA go- I'd look at a lightly used one... That is unless other car makers get the hint that people still want to drive fun-light RWD

I would opt for Toyota instead of Subaru. Just my personal preference.

There was an FR-S at my track day yesterday. It appeared to handle well, and didn't exhibit much body roll. Wasn't hard to pass it though, but I think it was driven by a beginner.
